Job Purpose Summary:

Serve as the primary resource for the internal sales team members in order to ensure that Nology’s customers receive excellent and consistent service levels.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Act as first line of escalation to resolve or escalate issues arising from internal sales consultants
  • 1st line escalation for collection room – sales related customer issues
  • Daily and weekly stats monitoring on internal sales duties
  • Chair internal sales meeting to review and improve compliance statistics
  • Monitoring capacity (calls and email ticket volume), assign and balance workload
  • Monitoring special pricing and discount approvals
  • Assist and brief Sales Manager on Internal Sales disciplinary and performance issues
  • Assessment of new reseller signups to identify new potential managed accounts to be handed over to internal Account Manager, Sales Representative or Account Managers
  • Compile customer progression, retention and escalation reporting
  • Compile monthly Internal Sales report
  • Monitoring and control of Demo Stock
  • Training and mentoring the collection room and Internal Sales staff

Education and Qualifications Required

  • Grade 12
  • Management or Supervisory Qualification (Essential)
  • Sales Related Certification (Advantageous)


Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet
  • Financial / ERP Systems (Fincon Advantageous)
  • Minimum of 3 years in internal sales in the ICT or IT industry
  • Minimum of 1 year in supervisory or team lead role
