Job Summary:

To ensure that the right company products are received, controlled and dispatched in the warehouse. Making sure customers are receiving an excellent service experience collecting from the company.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Inbound & outbound logistics
  • Collection room and sales order processing
  • Sales enquiries

 

Key Duties:

  • Receive and action parcels from couriers
  • Do weekly follow ups on pending orders
  • Action back orders upon receiving stock orders
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that picked orders are collected or cancelled within set time frames
  • Maintain quick and efficient flow of stock via collection room
  • Ensure all goods leaving the collection room have required signed documentation
  • Demarcate areas for different dispatch methods in collection cage
  • Control and monitor generated orders and invoice according to payment terms
  • Picking and packing on sales orders with 100% accuracy
  • Ensure all orders are entered onto the system timeously and accurately with the customer’s credit terms
  • Process and amend orders for walk in customers
  • Ensuring that export orders are processed using correct VAT rates
  • Acquire and maintain working knowledge of company products and processes
  • Escalate or resolve all customer complaints and queries accordingly

Education and Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant qualification in storekeeping and stock controlling (advantageous)

 

Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
  • 1+ years’ experience in a warehousing environment
  • Customer service experience (beneficial)
  • Sales experience (beneficial)
